Open a trading account

To create an account, head on over to our account registration page. There, you’ll just need to answer some quick questions and upload your documents for verification. Once you’re verified and approved, you can start trading!

Joint accounts have two or more account holders on them, each of whom will have full rights, access and control over the accounts.

Corporate accounts are opened and funded in the name of a company, rather than an individual. To open a corporate account, visit our account registration page and choose the ‘corporate account’ option.

Usually, we can get your account approved within 24 hours (and it’s typically much sooner than this!). However, if we need to reject your documents, it might take a little longer as we’ll need to email you to request alternate documents/images.

Nope! There are no fees associated with opening a Eurotrader account.

You’ll need to share some personal information with us, as well as your level of trading experience. You will also need to submit at least one document to prove your legal existence (such as an ID), and one to prove your address (such as a utility bill).

There are a few reasons why we ask for certain details about your financial information. Besides collecting information to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, it also helps us protect you, improve and optimise our website and services and, ultimately, give you a better experience.

As standard, you can open up to five MT4 or MT5 accounts at a time. If you’d like to open more, that’s totally fine – just contact our customer support team who will be able to increase the account cap for you.

You may not be able to open a Eurotrader account if your country is in a restricted location or if you cannot provide sufficient KYC documentation. If you are having difficulties opening an account, please contact our customer support team who will be happy to help!

Yes, we do offer swap-free accounts (otherwise known as Islamic or Sharia-compliant accounts).

Acceptable POA documents include: bank statements, utility bills (landline, broadband, gas, electric and water), official council documents (such as council tax bills) and official government-issued documents (such as driving licences).

Documents we are unable to accept include: purchase receipts, handwritten documents, insurance documents, letters from your bank other than a bank statement and no credit card statements. We also can’t accept photo uploads of documents where the information is obscured. Our KYC team uses a degree of discretion to decide whether a document is acceptable or not.

No, you don’t have to submit documents to open a demo.

Generally speaking, no. If you wish to start with lower than 500 USD/EUR/GBP, you will need to create a Micro account. If you think an exception might be appropriate, please speak with your account manager.

No, Eurotrader does not currently accept US clients.
